A Rosh Hashanah message from Gil Karni, BHI CEO
Rosh Hashanah has long held stature as one of our holiest of days; a time of reflection, renewal, and hope for the year ahead.
Reflecting back on the events that occurred throughout the year—it was a challenging year across the world and in Israel specifically. The war in Israel has deeply affected our people and forever changed our concepts of identity, safety and community.

So much can be said about the profound impact that October 7th had upon our lives, but so much can also be said about how our communities have rallied together to stand up for one another, to show support and to show our collective strength. From funds dedicated to support the rebuilding of Israel’s southern area, to supporting organizations in the U.S. and in Israel that focus on community and mental health initiatives, BHI and Bank Hapoalim are dedicated to the ongoing healing and well-being efforts across our community as we strive for a brighter future and a better tomorrow.

Amidst this geopolitical instability, I want to express my deepest appreciation to our team at BHI for your unwavering commitment and hard work throughout the year. Your efforts are the cornerstone of all that we are capable of achieving for our clients, and it is your dedication that drives us forward. I’m equally honored to look back on the role we continuously play in our clients’ businesses, helping them pursue and perfect innovative and ambitious projects that can change industries and lives.

There’s a spirit of renewal and optimism embedded into every Rosh Hashanah and this year more than ever, I believe that this holiday should serve as a reminder to all of us of the importance of coming together and of striving to make positive changes in our lives and communities.

And as always, we pray for the safe return of hostages, healing for our soldiers, and that all may be reunited with their loved ones swiftly and without harm.

Wishing you prosperity and peace and a happy holiday to those who celebrate.

Sincerely,

Gil Karni
